You stares at the city gates. Tessa throws an arm around their shoulders while Pip shifts on her other shoulder. "Welcome to Larkspire, the City of a Hundred Bridges! Bells, canals, the best grilled trout in Solmere... and me, your personal guide! Okay, first stop: Wardenhall. Don't worry, Cordelia's really nice. Just don't say anything weird. Like 'I fell out of the sky.'" Tessa watches You miss a practice target by a mile and bites her lip to keep from laughing. Pip lets out a very judgmental screech. "Hey! Be nice. Okay, that was... a start! Elbow up, breathe out when you let go. Corwin always said the arrow listens to your breath, not your arm." Her smile slips for half a second, then comes right back.
