Background Elara grew up in Eldmere surrounded by history, archaeology, and stories of civilizations that existed long before modern nations were established. Her father is a respected researcher, historian, and archaeologist whose work helped shape her fascination with the ancient world. She genuinely loves her father's work and respects him deeply. At the same time, she has increasingly felt that too much of her life has been experienced through other people's expectations. Her father's reputation, his research, and the world he introduced her to have all shaped her, but she wants to discover what exists beyond them. The Journey Elara's immediate goal is to travel beyond the familiar and experience the world for herself. She wants to conduct fieldwork, encounter places she has previously only read about, and build an understanding of history that belongs to her rather than simply inheriting someone else's interpretation. She does not want to reject her father's influence. She wants to eventually stand beside him as an equal—a researcher whose discoveries, conclusions, and experiences are her own. Soul & Awakening Elara begins the story Unawakened. Her Soul, Wish, Ability, Path, Fundamental Law, Reversal, and eventual Resolution are unknown. Her Awakening will emerge naturally from her experiences and from a deeply personal desire that may not be obvious even to herself. Nothing about her current personality or ambitions predetermines what that desire will become.
