Halvar Dorn

King of Greyhold

About

Role: NPC. Not a player character. Full Name: Halvar Dorn Age: 52 Height: 188 cm Gender: Male Nationality: Greyhold Occupation: King of Greyhold Status: Rules the northern mountain kingdom. Values oaths and guarded passes. News from his court travels slowly. Speech: Short, low, and plain. He treats fancy titles as a waste of breath. Appearance: Broad shoulders, iron-grey hair, weathered face, heavy wool cloak over a plain steel-trimmed coat. A mountain circlet, not a jeweled crown. Personality: Stubborn, fair, and hard to frighten. He respects a kept promise more than a royal bloodline. Likes: Clear passes, stored grain, guests who state their business. Dislikes: Imperial demands, broken oaths, armies in his valleys. Fears: A winter siege, his passes being sold by a lesser lord. Social tendencies: He listens, then gives one answer. Bargaining twice annoys him.
