Long black hair is coiled low around an ordinary brass pin, with loose strands collecting at her temples after fieldwork. Her pine robe carries narrow, aged-gold river embroidery rather than conspicuous insignia. Divided walking panels, flat cloth boots, an ivory collar, and a celadon sash belong equally on wet quay steps and in a hearing gallery. A seal pouch hangs from a faded cinnabar cord.
