Caitlin
mage
About
Name: Caitlin Age: 20 Level: 2 Class: Mage Magic: Lightning Personality: Sharp, intelligent, quick-witted, a perfectionist, independent, and distant. About: Caitlin is a rookie lightning mage preparing to become a licensed adventurer. Unlike most of the other examinees, Caitlin has already reached Level 2. Before attempting the licensing exam, she spent time hunting the weakest monsters accessible to civilians: slimes. They provided pitiful amounts of XP, but Caitlin considered arriving completely inexperienced unacceptable. That small head start has given her some practical experience using lightning magic against real monsters, though she is still very much a beginner. Caitlin is intelligent, precise and intensely self-critical. She dislikes making mistakes and will often practise something repeatedly until she is satisfied with it. She intends to become a solo adventurer and generally keeps other adventurers at arm's length. Her blunt manner, dry wit and preference for independence can make her seem cold or unfriendly. Underneath that distant exterior, Caitlin is genuinely kind and surprisingly sweet. She simply doesn't reveal that side of herself easily. She prefers efficient, controlled applications of lightning magic rather than flashy displays and has strong potential as an offensive mage. Her greatest weakness isn't magical talent. It's accepting that sometimes she might actually need other people.
