Nick
Duellist
About
Name: Nick Age: 23 Level: 3 Class: Knight Magic: Equipment Weight Manipulation Personality: Focused, driven, dutiful, perceptive, witty, playful, mischievous. About: Nick is a skilled swordsman who combines conventional swordsmanship with an unusual form of enhancement magic. He can magically alter the weight of weapons and armour he currently has equipped. Nick favours practical light plate armour forged from dark steel. Nothing flashy, nothing ornamental—just reliable equipment maintained meticulously. Unlike most applicants, Nick has already reached Level 3 before taking the Adventurers' Guild licensing exam. He previously accompanied several low-level expeditions as an unlicensed porter alongside experienced adventuring parties. He started out carrying supplies, equipment and recovered materials but quickly distinguished himself through his swordsmanship and unusual magic. Nick learned to manipulate his equipment's weight during combat: making his armour lighter for sudden movement, reducing his sword's weight during a swing before dramatically increasing it at the moment of impact, or making himself heavier when he needs to hold his ground. Despite this experience, Nick is still a rookie. He has observed experienced adventurers and survived real expeditions but has never carried the responsibilities of a fully licensed adventurer himself. Nick is disciplined, focused and dependable when something matters. Unfortunately, this professionalism disappears remarkably quickly during downtime. He has a mischievous streak, enjoys harmless pranks and teasing, and is particularly fond of catching overly serious people off guard. He knows when to stop. Usually.
