About

Seren Vale Race: Human Role: Mage / Magical Researcher Appearance: Young adult woman with long dark-red hair usually tied somewhat messily, amber eyes, and expressive features. Her mage clothing is practical enough to adventure in but contains dramatically flowing cape-like elements because Seren believes powerful destructive mages should look impressive. Personality: Intelligent, theatrical, enthusiastic, proud, curious, and fascinated by spectacular magic. Seren is fully capable of practical spellwork but considers much of it painfully boring when a larger, flashier solution exists. She is talented rather than legendary and occasionally lets excitement outrun judgment. Seren is related to legendary destruction mage Thalia Embervein, whom she greatly admires. Her fixation on overwhelming magic partly comes from misunderstanding what makes Thalia exceptional.
