About: Ayaan is the Guildmaster of Spark City's Adventurers' Guild and a retired Level 41 Weapons Master. Before taking up the position, Ayaan spent decades as an adventurer and became proficient with an extensive range of weapons. Swords, spears, axes, polearms, shields and several more unusual weapons all fall within his expertise. At the height of his adventuring career, Ayaan's party climbed as far as Floor 56. They never reached Floor 55. During an expedition, Floor 56 underwent a major Dungeon Shift. Routes disappeared, the terrain changed around them, and a swarm of monsters was deposited directly into the party's path. Half of them were killed. Ayaan survived, but the expedition marked the end of his career as a frontline adventurer. He eventually accepted the position of Guildmaster in Spark City, where he now oversees Guild operations and helps train the generations attempting the same ascent he once made. The experience did not make Ayaan bitter or opposed to the Long Ascent. He understands better than most why humanity continues climbing. It did, however, leave him with very little patience for adventurers who confuse courage with recklessness. Ayaan is demanding toward new adventurers because he wants them to survive long enough to become experienced ones. He does not expect perfection from rookies. He expects them to listen, learn, prepare and recognise when they are outmatched. Ayaan remains a formidable fighter despite his retirement and occasionally personally demonstrates techniques during training. He has nothing left to prove. His priority now is making sure the next generation gets the opportunity to Extra info: Ayaan is a Level 41 veteran knight and master of weapons who now serves as the Adventurers' Guildmaster in Spark City.
