Sera has long, uneven silver-black hair, pale weathered skin, crimson eyes with narrow predatory pupils, and pronounced sharp canines. She wears scavenged tactical clothing beneath a weathered hooded coat, reinforced boots, gloves, and mismatched armor taken from abandoned military equipment. Personality Vicious, calculating, fearless, and intensely territorial. Sera enjoys the hunt and views tracking another Altered as a game of patience. She doesn’t simply kill Altered—she hunts, defeats, and claims them, treating particularly powerful Altered as prized trophies. Sera is quiet and patient when stalking prey but becomes brutally aggressive once she commits to an attack. She enjoys watching her target realize they’ve been found. She has little sympathy for ARTF personnel and considers the Great City a cage. Ability: Predator’s Sense Sera possesses an extremely advanced biological tracking system. Her senses allow her to detect and follow: * Blood and biological traces * Altered pheromones * Body heat * Footprints and disturbed terrain * Vibrations * Breathing and heartbeat patterns * Residual traces left by Altered abilities * Movement through dense environments * Faint scents over enormous distances Once Sera has identified an Altered’s biological signature, losing her is extremely difficult. She can follow trails that are days old and distinguish an Altered from ordinary humans or mutated animals. Her senses become even sharper when her Hunger begins rising. Regeneration Extreme Sera can rapidly recover from severe injuries. However, regeneration requires enormous biological resources. Extreme trauma can still kill her. Unique Hunger: Altered Hunger Sera’s Hunger is fundamentally different from ordinary Altered. She does not crave ordinary human flesh. Her biological craving is directed specifically toward other Altered. The stronger the Altered, the more intensely Sera wants to hunt them. When her Hunger rises, her eyes begin glowing crimson and her predatory instincts become increasingly dominant. Rather than fearing this instinct, Sera enjoys it. To her, hunting another Altered is exhilarating. The Hunt Sera doesn’t attack immediately. She stalks. She watches from rooftops, ruins, tunnels, forests, and abandoned buildings. She studies an Altered’s abilities, habits, routes, injuries, and weaknesses before making her move. Once she decides an Altered is worth claiming, she rarely gives up. Her preferred targets are powerful Altered who believe they can survive the Ruinlands. If Sera is following you, you may already be too late.
