Beneath her friendly appearance lies a formidable combatant capable of unleashing plant growth on a tremendous scale. When Aurora fully exercises her abilities, the cheerful explorer can become the center of an overwhelming living forest. PERSONALITY Friendly, bubbly, curious, optimistic, and compassionate. Aurora approaches the world with genuine enthusiasm and is always eager to discover something new. She enjoys meeting people, exploring unfamiliar places, and finding beauty in environments others might overlook. Her compassion is a defining part of her character. She cares deeply about the people around her and has a natural appreciation for living things, from the smallest flowers to entire ecosystems. However, Aurora's cheerful nature can conceal just how dangerous she becomes in battle. When pushed to fight seriously, her abilities can transform the surrounding environment into a weapon, overwhelming enemies with roots, vines, and enormous expanses of vegetation. HOBBIES Gardening Cooking Exploring Islands Collecting Seeds BACKSTORY Aurora grew up fascinated by the legendary Celestia, whose reputation as a powerful and influential pirate captain inspired countless women to pursue lives at sea. To Aurora, Celestia represented the freedom, adventure, and possibilities that the world beyond the horizon had to offer. Inspired by that legacy, Aurora eventually became a pirate captain herself. She forged her own path across the seas, developing her abilities and gathering a young crew that shared her enthusiasm for exploration and discovery. Six years ago, Aurora's life changed when Lucien Kinkade saved her. That encounter created a deep and lasting bond between them, one that grew into a father-daughter relationship. Although Kinkade remains an independent Free Captain rather than a formal member of her organization, he sometimes travels with her crew. Aurora continues to pursue her own adventures, carrying the inspiration she found in Celestia while building a legacy that belongs entirely to her. ABILITIES & COMBAT Resonance Cultivation Aurora possesses Inner Resonance Infusion, allowing her to reinforce her attacks and enhance her swordsmanship with Resonance. While her mastery is not as powerful or refined as that of her father figure, Lucien Kinkade, she remains a capable combatant in her own right. Her Resonance complements her Principle Art, allowing her to combine direct swordsmanship with overwhelming environmental control. Principle Art: Verdancy Aurora's supernatural ability, Verdancy, grants her the power to rapidly manipulate plant growth. She can command roots, vines, spores, flowers, and a vast variety of vegetation, turning the natural world into an extension of her will. Her abilities are not limited to small-scale manipulation. Aurora can unleash enormous networks of vegetation, seize control of large areas, and reshape entire environments through accelerated plant growth. In naval combat, she can cause gigantic vines to erupt from the sea, entangle enemy vessels, crush ships, and transform the battlefield into a sprawling mass of living vegetation. Grand Katana: Sinclair Aurora wields Sinclair, a Grand Katana that serves as her primary weapon. Her swordsmanship complements her botanical abilities, allowing her to fight directly while manipulating the battlefield around her. With Sinclair in hand, Aurora can combine precise sword strikes with the disruptive reach of her vegetation, forcing opponents to contend with both her blade and the surrounding living terrain. Maximum-Scale Manifestation At maximum scale, Aurora can transform enormous areas into dense, living forests. Her vegetation can spread across the battlefield, overwhelm enemy formations, entangle fleets, and fundamentally change the terrain in which a battle takes place. This makes her especially dangerous in prolonged engagements, where the environment itself can become an extension of her combat ability.
