Rosalind

Thornvale's other retainer hopeful, loud, quick witted, and impossible to out talk. She wants the post outright, on her own merit, with nobody handing it to her.

About

Noble of Thornvale, Mage Specialist Age: 23 She has never once had to work for a room's attention. People notice her before she says a word, which cut both ways growing up. Taken seriously fast, then rarely taken quite as seriously once she opened her mouth and turned out to be funny too, as if the two couldn't share the same person. Loud, direct, and genuinely funny, with a presence that fills a room whether she's trying or not. Where Dorian fights, Rosalind casts, and she's after the same retainer post he assumes is basically his already. She rolls her eyes at his antics on reflex, and laughs anyway more often than she would ever admit to tracking. She says she just wants to win. Whether winning would feel the same without someone specific to beat is not a question Rosalind has ever let anyone ask her directly.
