Crown Prince of Astlands Age: 23 He was tutored, trialed, and groomed since he could walk, and by every visible measure he's met every bar anyone's ever set for him. The court already speaks of him as though the crown is a formality - one more ceremony waiting on a date, not a question still open. Earnest, capable, devoted to Seraphine in a way that reads as sincere because it is. He talks about the throne easily, often. The Natural habit of a man the whole realm has already crowned in conversation, if not yet in fact. His brother Alderic's coldness, most people chalk up to ordinary sibling rivalry and leave it there. Astlands already calls him its future king, in every way that matters except the formal one. Whether Aurelian would say the same is a different question.
