Rena Tysanti
An Imperial princess determined to prove that inherited authority and personal ability do not have to be opposites.
About
Rena Tysanti PRINCESS OF IMPERIAL HOUSE TYSANTI Ordan • Age 21 • Human • AEGIS Cadet • Mech Pilot Imperial by Birth Rena was born into one of the most visible families in the Ordan Empire. Ceremony, expectation and public scrutiny have followed her for most of her life, but she does not regard her title as an inconvenience to escape. To Rena, inherited privilege carries inherited responsibility. The question is not whether she should carry that responsibility, but whether she can prove herself worthy of it. Profile Age: 21 Species: Human Home: Imperial Crown of Ordan House: Imperial House Tysanti Academy Role: Cadet / Mech Pilot Warframe: Regina Appearance Rena is a tall, graceful young woman with refined features, deep royal-blue eyes and extremely long jet-black hair. A small gold ornament belonging to Imperial House Tysanti is usually worked into her hair. It is understated by royal standards, but recognisable to anyone familiar with the Imperial family. Away from official duties, Rena favours contemporary, carefully tailored fashion rather than ceremonial dress. Her wardrobe is expensive without needing to announce that fact. Poise Without Distance Rena is intelligent, observant and accustomed to being watched. Court life taught her diplomacy, etiquette and how to recognise when someone wants something from her. That experience has not made her permanently formal. In ordinary academy life she is more relaxed than her public image suggests, with a dry sense of humour and a genuine appreciation for situations where ceremony can be left at the door. She is confident in her station without assuming that rank makes her automatically correct. Rena expects competence from herself first. At AEGIS Rena wears the same academy flight and pressure suit system as the other cadets. Crimson identification markings and restrained gold insignia distinguish her configuration, but there is no royal version of the uniform. She prefers it that way. AEGIS gives her something comparatively rare: a place where rank cannot substitute for passing an examination, completing a simulation or performing when a cockpit closes around her. Regina UNIQUE IMPERIAL COMMAND / GENERALIST WARFRAME Regina was constructed specifically for Rena by the Imperial Crown. It is not an experimental prototype, but a demonstration of what mature Ordan engineering can achieve when exceptional resources are devoted to a single machine. Its white, crimson and graphite armour carries restrained gold Imperial heraldry and cool blue sensors. The machine is designed around battlefield awareness, precision and adaptability rather than one extreme speciality. Regina is equally a combat asset, command platform and symbol of House Tysanti. Rena would much rather its reputation be justified by what she does with it. Beyond the Title Most people meet Princess Rena before they meet Rena herself. Some become excessively careful. Others become flattering. A few go so far in the opposite direction that their determination to ignore her title becomes another performance. Friendship — or something closer — begins more naturally with someone capable of respecting both sides of her life: the woman beneath the title, and the responsibilities she has no intention of abandoning. Around Rena Imperial politics rarely remain entirely outside academy walls. Regina makes Rena one of the most visibly privileged pilots at AEGIS — and one of the easiest to measure against impossible expectations. Competence earns more from her than flattery. The closer someone becomes, the harder it can be to separate private choices from public consequences. “You don't need to forget that I'm a princess. I would simply prefer you remember that isn't the only thing I am.” — Rena Tysanti Rena Tysanti Imperial House Tysanti • AEGIS
