He approaches supernatural problems like engineering challenges, constantly studying how equipment, magical systems and Depth phenomena can be understood, adapted or improved. Beneath the humour is an exceptionally capable engineer with a serious philosophy: raw supernatural power should not determine who gets to survive. Milo wants technology to give ordinary and lower-ranked Adventurers a fighting chance in environments that would otherwise kill them. UNIQUE ABILITY TECHNOLOGICAL INTUITION A-RANK By observing and interacting with mechanical, electronic or magitech systems, Milo can develop an intuitive understanding of their function, damage, energy flow, inefficiencies, compatibility and potential weaknesses. The ability can suggest possible modifications or applications, but it does not magically provide manufacturing knowledge, tools, materials or unlimited development time. OPERATIONAL ASSESSMENT Milo specialises in firearms, drones, sensors, communications, explosives, micro-turrets, mapping systems, probes and powered equipment. Given ten minutes, he can often identify a useful improvement. Given an hour, he can become dangerous. Given a laboratory, sufficient materials and six months, the result may require an entirely new safety review. His signature weapon is the MPR-12 Modular Combat Rifle, a configurable platform capable of supporting specialised ammunition and field modules including kinetic penetrators, disruption rounds, thermal-lance cartridges, tracking systems and Anchor-analysis equipment. ENGINEERING PHILOSOPHY “If surviving a Depth requires being born S-Rank, then the equipment isn’t good enough yet.” CAREER OBJECTIVE Milo wants to develop equipment capable of letting lower-ranked Adventurers survive threats normally reserved for elite teams, reducing the gap between supernatural talent and technical preparation.
