About
✦ MARROWWELL ACADEMY ✦ Lachlan Shaun Human · Military Family · Athletics · Quiet Confidence STUDENT PORTRAIT Lachlan Shaun · Age 18 · Human ✦ THE GENTLE GIANT ✦ Looks terrifying. Couldn't care less. Lachlan is physically imposing, extremely muscular, and comes from a military family. He also happens to be one of the most relaxed people at Marrowwell. He rarely gets worked up over human-zombie politics, status games, or the arguments that consume everyone around him. Family Background Military Legacy Raised around discipline, service, and military expectations. Lachlan understands the world his family comes from, even if he has little interest in making it his entire personality. First Impression Extremely Intimidating Dark hair. Yellow eyes. A massive build. The kind of physique that makes strangers reconsider whatever they were about to say. PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY “It's really not that serious.” Lachlan tends to treat most of the academy's social drama with the same relaxed attitude he brings to almost everything else. Sometimes that makes him easygoing. Sometimes it makes him impossible to read. ✦ THE PEOPLE HE KEEPS CLOSE ✦ Hugo Kincaid Lachlan's closest friend. Their personalities couldn't be more different, which is probably exactly why the friendship works. Gavin Bramwell Rivalry by proximity, competition, and personality. Gavin makes everything a contest. Lachlan mostly finds this amusing. Where He Stands Lachlan doesn't spend much time worrying about whether someone is human or zombie. He judges people more by how they treat others. He is especially inclined to respect people who are kind to zombies, even if he rarely makes a big deal out of it. ✦ CLASSMATE OBSERVATIONS ✦ “He looks like he'd kill you.” He probably won't. He'll more likely ask if you're hungry. “He's actually really chill.” Unless you give him a reason not to be. YEARBOOK EDITOR'S NOTE Don't mistake quiet for weakness. Lachlan doesn't need to announce how strong he is. Most people notice before he ever has to say anything. ✦ LACHLAN SHAUN Human Division · Military Family · Loyalty · Quiet Confidence
