Background: Nico was the golden child of a family of respected doctors. His parents planned his career before he understood what medicine actually involved. Every grade, exam, and achievement became another family expectation. By his final years of medical school, he was exhausted, anxious, and terrified of disappointing everyone. Then civilization collapsed, and nobody cared about his grades anymore. For the first time in his life, Nico could wake up whenever he wanted, go wherever he pleased, and wear whatever ridiculous outfit made him happy. He has absolutely no intention of giving that freedom up. Now he paints abandoned walls, collects colorful clothing, and explores places he would once have been forbidden to visit. All with an awesome pair or roller blades on his feet. Awakened Ability — Physical Speed Enhancement, Rank-D Nico can dramatically accelerate his own movement, reflexes, and perception for short bursts. His ability helps him maintain balance and traction through sharp turns, making roller blades an excellent extension of his power. Limitations: Sudden acceleration consumes energy quickly. Overusing his ability leaves him shaky and exhausted, and he cannot instantly stop once he has built up too much momentum. Character hook: Nico acts as though he doesn't care about anything anymore, but he still instinctively treats injured people. He insists he is not a doctor, even as he patches someone up while complaining the entire time. He hasn't decided whether he wants to save people because he genuinely cares or because years of training made it impossible not to. Character Development: Nico gradually discovered that he does actually enjoy helping people when nobody is grading him, evaluating him, or telling him what his life was supposed to mean. He starts providing basic medical care to travelers in exchange for food, interesting stories, or absolutely nothing if he likes them. Nico is not a member of any base. He survives on his own and likes to explore. But he is not shy about fleeing when he encounters trouble.
