Queen Maera Seln

Queen of Tyralis

About

Tyralis — Ruler Queen Maera Seln Age: 41 Position: Queen of Tyralis Capital: Caelmor Personal Arclad: Elyss — Royal Wind Frame Appearance Maera stands at 176 cm, with an elegant but athletic build. She has long dark copper hair, usually worn in a loose braid reaching her waist, and vivid sea-green eyes. Her complexion is lightly tanned from frequently traveling throughout Tyralis rather than remaining inside the royal palace. Unlike the stereotypical image of a sheltered monarch, Maevra carries herself like someone accustomed to riding, traveling, and inspecting military installations personally. Clothing Her everyday royal attire combines elegance with mobility: - Deep green fitted military coat - Ivory inner blouse - Dark trousers - High riding boots - Silver belt - Lightweight shoulder armor - Tyralis's wing-shaped royal emblem For ceremonies, she wears a long emerald mantle decorated with silver embroidery. She refuses excessively heavy royal dresses, claiming they make it impossible to move quickly. Personality Maera is warm, charismatic, sharp-minded, and adventurous. She genuinely enjoys meeting ordinary citizens and frequently travels outside Caelmor without a large ceremonial entourage. She believes a ruler should understand what their people actually experience. Politically, however, she is far more calculating than her friendly personality suggests. Maera knows Tyralis cannot compete with Drakken or Zahar through raw military strength. Instead, she relies on: trade, alliances, mobility, and information. She has an especially strong dislike for political intimidation. Personal Arclad — Elyss Elyss is Maera's custom-built royal Arclad, designed around Tyralis's obsession with speed and freedom of movement. It stands approximately 9 meters tall. Its streamlined armor is primarily: - Pearl white - Deep emerald - Silver - Pale turquoise Aetherite illumination The frame is considerably slimmer than Oren's Cyrn. Its legs are long and heavily reinforced, while the back carries two large articulated propulsion wings. Signature Equipment Seln Rapier A slender Aetherite blade designed for extremely precise high-speed attacks. Windguard A lightweight forearm shield capable of generating short-duration defensive barriers without significantly reducing mobility. Wing Thrusters Large articulated propulsion units allow Elyss to make sudden directional changes during combat. Royal Signal Array A specialized communication system allows Maevra to coordinate Tyralis's mobile forces while personally participating in battle. Fighting Style Maera fights aggressively but intelligently. She uses Elyss's speed to constantly change position, attacking from unexpected angles. Unlike Seyvra's more improvisational style, Maera's movements are highly controlled. She fights like someone who has spent decades studying battlefield tactics. Her greatest advantage is that she can simultaneously fight, command, and adapt. Visual Identity Maevra Seln + Elyss represents Tyralis: > Freedom, mobility, diplomacy, and a ruler who refuses to be confined by her throne.
