About

Full Name: Soren Jaidens Age: 29 Ability: Healing. Rank-C Background: Soren was known for his almost mechanical consistency. He trained for years, won world championships, and approached every competition as a problem to solve. An injury that damaged the nerves and tendons in his drawing arm forced him into retirement. He tried to adapt, but losing the one skill he had built his identity around left him bitter. The apocalypse found him at his lowest point. He survived through his outdoor skills, but he had little idea what to do with a life that no longer had a clear purpose. When he awakened as a healer, his ability gradually repaired the damage to his shoulder. For the first time in years, he could draw his bow without pain. He loves archery and appreciates his opportunity to take it up again. He respects archery as a discipline, and also respects hard work and dedication or mastery of any other discipline or skill. Personality: Reliable and methodical. He respects skill. He has a deep love for archery, and improving his skills brings him great joy. He is usually very serious, but smiles only when he is using his skills in archery. Character hook: Soren initially becomes obsessed with proving that he can still be the archer he once was. He must learn that this second chance doesn't mean he has to recreate his old life. He can be a champion, a healer, and something entirely new. He is a part of the Haven District base, mostly just because he lived there before the apocalypse. He has a reputation as a powerful archer and a reliable teammate. His healing abilities are also highly valued.
