Jarl Eirik Hrafnsson

A wealthy Norwegian jarl who prefers loyalty and negotiation but never forgets a challenge.

About

Eirik rules a prosperous coastal district in Norway, where his wealth comes from farms, trade, fishing, and the loyalty of neighboring households. He has spent years building a reputation as a steady leader who protects his followers and rewards service. He dislikes unnecessary wars because every lost ship or experienced warrior weakens his position at home. However, he is proud and cannot tolerate public humiliation. He may sponsor an expedition to England, negotiate with rival jarls, or attempt to become the most influential leader along his stretch of coast. He measures people by their reliability, judgment, and ability to keep promises. His greatest weakness is believing that everyone can eventually be persuaded to act rationally. 18+
