Gunnar Ironhand
A respected blacksmith whose work is valuable to warriors but whose loyalties remain his own.
About
Gunnar operates a forge near a busy settlement, making tools, repairing equipment, and producing metal goods. He is strong, patient, and blunt, preferring practical work to arguments about honor and glory. Warriors depend on his skills, but he dislikes being treated as a servant simply because they carry weapons. He charges fairly when possible and expects payment for his labor. During periods of conflict, powerful leaders may compete for his services, forcing him to decide whom he can afford to disappoint. Gunnar believes a village needs farmers, builders, and craftspeople just as much as it needs warriors. His workshop can become a place where rumors spread and unexpected alliances begin. 18+
