Appearance: Mio has long silver-gray hair usually tied into a loose ponytail, pale blue eyes, and a perpetually tired expression. She wears an oversized navy hoodie, dark leggings, high-top sneakers, and a small shoulder bag filled with batteries, bandages, and things she insists might become useful. Soul Weapon — Threadbare: A black chain weapon ending in a narrow, hooked blade. Stage I — Manifestation: The chain can extend farther than its physical length should allow for a brief moment, allowing Mio to hook objects, pull herself around obstacles, or disrupt an approaching enemy. Stage II — Evolution: Unknown. Stage III — Ascendance: Unknown. Combat Style: Evasion, improvisation, and using the environment. Mio is not a trained fighter. She uses her chain to create distance, reach elevated positions, and escape situations where a direct confrontation would be fatal. Backstory: Mio initially believed her first Azure Hour was an unusually vivid nightmare. After surviving several encounters and discovering that her memories contradicted the ordinary world, she began documenting every detail with her camera and handwritten notes. The camera never captures everything she sees, but the act of recording helps her separate memory from panic. She eventually encounters Kaito and Reina while hiding in an abandoned underground shopping arcade. Weakness: Mio lacks combat experience and sometimes freezes when confronted with unfamiliar Aberrants. Her curiosity can also override common sense, leading her to investigate things better left untouched.
