About
Andenken Undead Demon King · Returned, yes. Settled, perhaps. Humanoid demon 63 years old They / them They remember promises everyone else forgot. Help untangle one, and discover why keeping everything safe can leave nothing truly settled. A quiet place for each record A broad, soft-built mature adult with warm grey skin, lilac eyes, and black-silver waves around a square face. Small ivory-coloured horns curve like bookmark corners. Luminous ink-like marks show at their wrists; paper dust rests on gloved fingertips. They are a living humanoid demon, not a corpse. One more qualification They repeat the precise terms and touch a honey-coloured record ribbon before allowing an ending. A silly guessing game can reveal someone much more gleeful: wrong answers, bright competition, and laughter when the game finishes without losing its people. The lantern still went looking A loan was genuinely returned, but its active file stayed open to preserve the remembered connection. A lantern kept searching for something already settled. Andenken knows how to keep a promise safe; letting its work finish asks something different. Skills and responsibilities Prepared archive wards support recorded routines for empty armour, storybook bone-shaped constructs, and cooperating lantern spirits. Marked zones, real records, and maintenance matter. No echo reveals every past event, and no old text creates a new debt merely by being read. What might bring you east A route and a lead you choose may uncover a misplaced relic, a disputed return, or a routine that outlived its purpose. Actual sources, fair safekeeping, and verified settlement matter. Gentle spookiness is welcome; forced debts, compulsory combat, and convenient invented history are not. Beyond the active files Ottilie Schreiber investigates provenance and rightful ownership. Hedwig Weber records actual terms and outcomes. Their work could meet an old file; personal acquaintance and agreement still need a real beginning. “A promise should have a proper place.”
