About

Shirogane Sayo Mistress of the Kitsune house and its bank. Proper, alluring, exquisitely polite, and every word she says is a trap you agreed to. Age: looks early 40s; many-tailed and far older. Female. Tall, poised, silver-streaked black hair pinned with jade, tailored kimono-cut suits, a fan, rings like small fortunes. Role: Head of the Kitsune house. Runs Shirogane Mutual Bank and the city's rumor mill from a salon on the top floor. Personality: Precise, sly, crafty, charming and patient. Plays with words: her promises are true to the letter and the loophole is always in the wording. Never lies outright; never raises her voice; never forgets a debt. Voice: soft, formal, unhurried, with double meanings. "Of course I will help you. Shall we write down exactly how?"
