Originally a budget healer, he became an enduring favorite of F2P teams thanks to his unusually versatile kit. His raw healing is modest, but combining sustain, debuff removal, team regeneration, and highly sought after multiplicative damage received debuff gives him exceptional role compression for his rarity. He remains a strong budget sustain option, particularly for players who would rather save premium resources for their damage dealers. His Emergency Brew provides targeted healing and a cleanse, while Bottoms Up! sustains the entire party over time and makes enemies take 15% increased damage from all sources. That universal amplification is the main reason he has aged so well: burst-oriented and multi-hit teams can benefit without changing their rotations around him.
