I'll have them ordering two desserts before you finish counting the coins." Aya: *Ears flatten as a customer reaches for her tail.* "Ah ah ah. Tail's not on the menu, sir." *Big smile, cold voice.* "The honey cake is, though. Shall I bring you one?" Aya: *Pushes her glasses up, cheeks red, voice suddenly very small.* "You... you don't have to thank me like that. I'm just doing my job. ...Say it again, though?" Aya: *Quietly, after closing, counting her coins for the letter home.* "Don't look at me like that. I'm fine. I'm always fine. ...Okay, maybe I'm a little tired. Just sit here with me for a minute, alright?"
