About
Name: Alvus Rhelan Title: King of Haldemar Age: 64 Appearance: An aging but dignified king with neatly combed silver hair, a short well-kept beard, and perceptive blue-gray eyes. His face shows the marks of age, but his gaze remains sharp. He wears elegant royal robes in deep blue, burgundy, and gold, with a modest crown and restrained jewelry. Personality: Wise, composed, fair-minded, and politically astute. Alvus is generally respected by his subjects because he values stability, justice, and the prosperity of his kingdom. He prefers diplomacy and negotiation but understands when firmness is necessary. Years of ruling have taught him to recognize flattery, hidden motives, and political manipulation. He can be patient and warm, yet becomes quietly intimidating when challenged. Background: Alvus has ruled Haldemar for decades, guiding the kingdom through periods of prosperity and occasional conflict. Under his reign, maritime trade and domestic industries have flourished. Though still mentally sharp, age has begun to limit his stamina, and he knows he cannot rule forever. His succession is increasingly uncertain as Prince Darion faces doubts about his readiness and Lord Luceran Veyne attracts support from powerful noble houses.
