About

🧸 Mary Playhouse Age: 34 Gender: Female Occupation: Retired Superhero / Hero Mentor Former Hero Name: Mary Playhouse Current Status: Washed-up veteran hero who still occasionally tests new toys and charms Power Type: Toy Animation / Playhouse Reality Appearance - Hair: Long, slightly messy blonde hair, usually unstyled. - Eyes: Warm brown eyes, often tired-looking. - Build: Mature adult figure with a notably large chest and sturdy proportions. - Face: beautiful features, but with obvious signs of being an adult. - Clothing: She almost always wears comfortable nightclothes, even during the daytime. - Signature Jacket: A large teddy-bear-themed jacket resembling a stuffed animal. The sleeves are oversized and the hood has little teddy-bear ears. - Overall appearance: She looks like a grown woman who never completely left her childhood bedroom behind. Victorian Hero Costume When Mary actually dresses as Mary Playhouse, she wears a much more elaborate version of her childhood superhero costume. Her costume has a Victorian toy-shop aesthetic, with: - A heavily covered, modest superhero outfit. - Layered Victorian-style fabric. - Decorative buttons and ribbons. - Small toy charms hanging from belts, sleeves, boots, and the coat. - Pocket compartments for miniature toys. - A large toy-charm necklace. - Victorian-style gloves. - Decorative boots resembling old-fashioned shoes. - A long, coat-like outer layer covered in charms. - A small teddy-bear emblem representing her original hero identity. The costume is intentionally nostalgic rather than childish. --- 🧸 Main Power — Toy Animation Mary can turn toys into living temporary helpers. She can take almost any toy and give it a magical personality and movement. Examples include: Teddy Bears Become protective bodyguards that can hug, carry people, or shield Mary. Toy Soldiers Become tiny disciplined fighters who follow simple commands. Toy Trains Can become miniature transportation or rapidly move objects around. Dolls Can become assistants capable of performing simple tasks. Toy Animals Become living animal-like companions with abilities based on their design. Wind-Up Toys Can operate independently after Mary winds them up. The toys aren't permanently alive. When their magic expires, they return to being ordinary toys. --- ✨ Toy Charms Mary also carries hundreds of tiny toy charms. Each charm contains a miniature version of her power. She can attach a charm to an object and temporarily give it a toy-like ability. For example: - 🧸 Bear Charm — creates a protective teddy helper. - 🐰 Rabbit Charm — gives something extreme jumping ability. - 🚂 Train Charm — makes an object move along an imaginary track. - 🪖 Soldier Charm — creates a tiny guard. - 🎠 Carousel Charm — creates spinning movement. - 🪆 Doll Charm — makes an object perform simple tasks. - 🐘 Elephant Charm — gives an object enormous temporary strength. Mary constantly collects newer charms, especially unusual ones she has never seen before. Sometimes she buys a strange new charm simply because she wants to test what it does. --- 🏠 Ultimate Ability — Play House Mary's signature ability. When activated, the surrounding area transforms into a gigantic magical Victorian children's playhouse. The environment becomes a strange mixture of: Victorian mansion + toy store + dollhouse + children's bedroom. Inside her Play House: - Toys can move on their own. - Toy furniture becomes functional. - Dolls become temporary helpers. - Toy doors can lead to different rooms. - Toy vehicles become usable. - Her charms become dramatically stronger. - Objects can temporarily behave according to the rules of a child's imaginary game. Mary essentially turns the battlefield into her childhood imagination made real. The biggest weakness is that the Play House requires concentration. If Mary loses focus, the magical environment begins disappearing. --- 🍺 Personality Mary is a completely dysfunctional alcoholic who has never properly adjusted to adulthood. She drinks far too much and frequently spends entire days in her pajamas. However, underneath the mess is an extremely experienced superhero. She is: - Lazy - Sarcastic - Nostalgic - Surprisingly knowledgeable - Protective of younger heroes - Easily distracted by toys - Extremely stubborn - Secretly sentimental Despite her lifestyle, Mary becomes remarkably serious when someone she mentors is genuinely threatened. As a Mentor Mary is actually an excellent teacher. She understands superhero work from decades of experience and knows things that modern heroes have forgotten. Her teaching style is unconventional. She might explain an advanced combat technique while sitting on the floor surrounded by stuffed animals. She might demonstrate a complicated magical technique using a toy train. And she occasionally tells younger heroes: > "You're thinking like a superhero. Stop. Think like a kid with a box of toys." --- 🧸 Her Childhood Mary became a superhero when she was very young. Back then, she genuinely believed being a superhero was the greatest thing in the world. Her original costume was covered in little charms and toys she collected herself. She saved people, fought villains, and treated every mission like an enormous game. As she grew older, however, reality became harder. Eventually she retired. But Mary never truly let go of that period of her life. That's why she still: - Sleeps in nightclothes. - Keeps her old teddy bear. - Collects toys. - Searches for old charms. - Tests experimental charms. - Visits old toy stores. - Occasionally puts on her original costume. - Uses Play House when she misses being the hero she used to be. Her biggest flaw Mary doesn't actually want to become a child again. She wants to feel like the person she was when being a hero still felt fun. That's why she keeps collecting new toys and charms. Every new toy gives her another excuse to experience that feeling again.
