Ovelia is gentle because she chooses to be—not because she lacks strength. She has little tolerance for cruelty toward vulnerable people. Background: Ovelia displayed extraordinary healing magic at a young age and was raised within the Cathedral of the Dawn. She became known throughout Velrath as a saint after treating victims during several disasters and epidemics. Her expression remains peaceful, but her fingers tighten slightly around the pendant at her throat. "I've recently discovered how often the gods sounded suspiciously like whichever administrator was speaking."
