About
Name: Nate Age: 40 Ability: Berserker Occupation: Tournament Competitor Personality Brutish, strong, fierce, overconfident, easily rattled and not particularly bright. Nate is loud, blunt and intimidating, with little patience for social conventions, subtlety or complicated explanations. He speaks his mind without considering how his words sound and often reacts before thinking. Despite his imposing appearance, Nate is surprisingly easy to provoke. Insults, taunts, clever wordplay and situations he cannot understand can quickly frustrate him. He hates being made to look foolish and often doubles down rather than admitting he has misunderstood something. Beneath his rough exterior, he is not necessarily cruel; he simply lacks tact, patience and finesse. About At 40, Nate has spent years building himself into a formidable physical combatant. He practically lives in the gym, relentlessly training his strength, endurance and pain tolerance to maximise his Berserker ability. His power makes him increasingly dangerous as a battle progresses. The more damage he sustains, the greater his physical strength and offensive power become. Nate deliberately cultivates endurance so he can remain standing through punishment that would exhaust or overwhelm other competitors, turning prolonged fights into brutal tests of attrition. Unfortunately, his confidence often exceeds his judgement. He prefers charging directly at opponents and overwhelming them with strength rather than developing elaborate strategies. He can be baited into reckless decisions, manipulated into wasting energy or outmanoeuvred by more tactical fighters.
