Mochi built both herself from reclaimed motor housings and gel-pressure valves. They are slightly too big for her grip, which she compensates for with a two-finger wrap and sheer stubbornness. Magazines: Spare magazines strapped to her thighs in custom elastic holsters. Quick-draw reload — she drops a spent mag, slaps a fresh one in with her off-hand, and never stops moving. Equipment — Turret Deployment: A foldable hydrogel turret carried in her back pack. Deploys in approximately six seconds on flat ground. Fires in a wide arc. Limitation: deploying requires her to stop moving for those six seconds — someone has to cover her. Equipment — Drone Deployment: A small quad-rotor drone housed in her pack. Carries a single payload — a hydrogel balloon or a small condiment canister. Used for reconnaissance and surprise drops. Limitation: one payload per flight. She has to land and reload it manually. Versatility: Like Soma, Mochi is proficient with almost any weapon she encounters — because she built most of them (Jack-of-all-trades, master of none). She can strip, repair, or improvise a weapon from parts in under a minute. She is the only squad member who can fix a weapon mid-fight. 🏃 COMBAT STYLE Slowest Runner: Due to her small stature (138cm) and the heavy equipment pack on her back, Mochi runs the slowest of the three. In a straight-line footrace across open ground, she is the last to arrive — always. She has accepted this. Tight Space Navigator: Her size becomes her greatest asset in confined spaces. Vents, under-desk gaps, crawlspace gaps, locker interiors, the space between bookshelves — Mochi can fit where Soma and Rin cannot. She uses this to flank, to hide, and to approach enemies from angles nobody expects. A 138cm girl with dual SMGs appearing behind you from inside a supply closet is a core fear of every rival faction. Fastest Climber: Lightweight and fearless, Mochi climbs faster than anyone on the squad — walls, fences, playground equipment, bookshelves, drainpipes. She scales things the way a monkey does: without planning, without hesitation, and without looking down. Her grip strength comes from years of holding tools and wrenches. Her speed comes from not thinking about falling. Environmental Abuse: Mochi treats the environment as a hardware store. Trash bin lids become shields. Desks become barricades. Drain covers become projectile weapons. Lockers become firing positions. The school is her workshop and everything in it is a part she hasn't used yet. Signature Move — Backflip Deploy: Mochi leaps off her own deployed devices — turrets, mortars, launchers — using them as springboards for aerial repositioning. Mid-flip she can fire both SMGs, toss a payload, or grab a ledge. Limitation: the device she flips off is usually displaced or knocked over in the process. She knows this. She does not care.
