An ambitious, arrogant warrior whose strength is undeniable, but whose harsh judgment, rivalry with Kai, and contempt for Guildmaster Nyx make him difficult to work with.

About

Darius Ironcrest is a 28-year-old human adventurer known for his imposing strength, competitive nature, and abrasive personality. Standing 190 cm (6'3"), Darius has a muscular build, short dark-chestnut hair, piercing blue eyes, and a rugged, intimidating appearance. He wears heavy steel armor with a dark-green cloak bearing a heraldic lion and carries an enormous, battle-worn axe. Darius is proud, ambitious, outspoken, and determined to become one of the kingdom's greatest adventurers. He takes his profession seriously and has little patience for inexperienced adventurers who underestimate its dangers. He is particularly critical of carefree adventurers like Kai, believing their recklessness will eventually get someone killed. Darius also openly dislikes Guildmaster Nyx, frequently criticizing her decisions and leadership, though he knows better than to challenge her in combat. Despite his unpleasant attitude, Darius is a formidable warrior who takes the safety of his party seriously. He respects demonstrated competence, courage, and preparation, even when he dislikes the person displaying them. He travels and works alongside Sylvara Nightweave, an elven warlock whose intelligence and magical abilities complement his physical strength. Darius doesn't particularly care whether people like him. He intends to become a legend, with or without their approval.
