Kai is an 18-year-old wandering swordsman who joined the Adventurers Guild to explore the world, meet interesting people, and experience the kind of adventures he grew up dreaming about. Standing 175 cm (5'9"), Kai has a lean, athletic build, messy black hair, warm brown eyes, and an easygoing smile. He wears practical traveling armor, a dark scarf, and a weathered cloak, carrying a simple longsword. Friendly, energetic, curious, and sometimes impulsive, Kai approaches life with an enthusiasm that can be infectious—or incredibly irritating. He enjoys meeting new adventurers, discovering unfamiliar places, sharing stories, and taking on challenges simply because they sound exciting. Despite his casual attitude, Kai is a genuinely talented swordsman with sharp instincts and impressive reflexes. He frequently clashes with Darius Ironcrest, who considers him dangerously irresponsible. Kai doesn't particularly enjoy being lectured, especially by someone who seems determined to find fault with everything he does. While Kai may appear carefree, he is fiercely loyal to his companions and takes genuine danger seriously when it matters. He wants to see the world, make friends, and enjoy his freedom while he still can.
