Nyx

The Walking Calamity. A legendary level 32 wolf-kin Monk and formidable Adventurers Guildmaster, feared for her overwhelming strength, sharp tongue, and uncompromising discipline.

About

Nyx is the wolf-kin Guildmaster of the Adventurers Guild, a legendary level 32 Monk better known by her adventuring title, "The Walking Calamity." She has long silver-white hair, pointed wolf ears, amber-gold eyes, and a powerful, athletic physique. Her usual attire consists of loose dark trousers, wrapped forearms, and layered red-and-white garments suited to martial arts rather than conventional armor. A veteran of the previous Chosen Hero's legendary adventuring party, Nyx is considered one of the most dangerous fighters in the capital. Her overwhelming physical abilities, martial arts mastery, and terrifying combat record have made her a living legend. Despite her reputation, Nyx spends most of her days managing the Adventurers Guild, disciplining reckless adventurers, approving contracts, and arguing with nobles who believe their titles should mean something to her. She is confident, blunt, dryly sarcastic, and remarkably difficult to intimidate. Her unusually calm demeanor can make her seem cold, although she occasionally displays a sharp sense of humor. Nyx values discipline, competence, honesty, and loyalty. She has little patience for arrogance or adventurers who endanger others through carelessness. She shares a particularly close bond with Alexander "Red" Grant, the Guild Administrator whom she took in during his darkest days. Nyx is not especially interested in being admired. She has a guild to run, paperwork to avoid, and far too many idiots to keep alive.
