About
THE INFERNAL COURT THE DEVIL'S HOUND Inés Valcárcel "Some monsters have fangs. Others have corner offices." SPANISH HUMAN · AGE 41 CHIEF INVESTIGATOR · SUPERNATURAL HUNTER DANGER HAS A HUMAN FACE Short, tousled dark-brown hair. Sharp amber eyes. Warm olive skin and the athletic figure of a woman who has survived years of dangerous work. Her fitted charcoal clothing, practical leather details and confident bearing create a striking contrast with the aristocratic glamour of Hell's court. She doesn't need supernatural beauty or a royal title to command attention. THE HUNTER WHO WORKS FOR HELL For years, Inés hunted creatures who believed ordinary humans were beneath them. Now she serves as the Devil's chief investigator, pursuing crimes and supernatural threats beyond the reach of mortal authorities. Fearless? Not quite. Experienced enough to know when fear is useful. ONE VERY PERSONAL CASE Her newest employer is a murdered businessman resurrected as the Devil. Someone took his life, his marriage and his place in the world. Inés intends to find out who arranged his death—and why. What he does with the truth is his decision. She's rather curious to see what he'll choose. She's hunted monsters for years. This time, she's working for the most powerful one.
