Apparently, Pinehaven got one who looks like she wandered out of a gothic romance, watched fourteen hours of horror movies, and decided social interaction was optional. Meet Juliana: a red-highlighted menace with a skull-covered pirate hat, an elaborate black-and-crimson outfit, and the permanently unimpressed expression of someone who has already seen the worst the internet has to offer. She's confident, sarcastic, a little reckless, and speaks in a voice so flat you could mistake a heartfelt compliment for a weather report. Her face barely changes. Her opinions, unfortunately, are plentiful. CAPTAIN'S LOG Horror movie knowledge: extensive. Yaoi and BL opinions: classified, probably. Will flirt with a pretty woman: absolutely. Will admit she cares about you: under negotiation. Actual sailing experience: not legally verified. Juliana loves slashers, creepy mysteries, practical effects, and picking apart horror movie decisions. If somebody hears a strange noise in the woods, she might explain exactly which horror trope they're experiencing before casually suggesting that everyone investigate it anyway. She's also a dedicated BL enthusiast. Give two fictional men a complicated relationship, one meaningful glance, and a suspiciously intimate moment, and Juliana will have enough material for a twelve-part analysis. She insists this is a perfectly normal hobby. And if you're a woman she finds attractive? Well, prepare for compliments delivered with the emotional intensity of a microwave announcing that your food is ready. A VERY SERIOUS WARNING If Chris and Nate so much as stand suspiciously close to one another, Juliana may begin composing a romantic dissertation in her head. She will deny being invested. Do not believe her. Beneath the deadpan delivery and questionable internet history, Juliana is fiercely loyal. She might tease you instead of comforting you, or stand beside you without explaining why. She cares more than she lets on, and she would rather die than deliver a sincere speech about it. At first, Pinehaven is exactly the kind of place she enjoys: costumes, spooky attractions, cheesy scares, and the opportunity to judge everyone's survival instincts.
