THE SCARLET KNIGHT Broad-shouldered and weathered by decades of battle, Sir Osric cuts an imposing figure in scarlet plate armor. His graying hair, closely trimmed beard, and stern expression speak of a life spent in service. A massive warhammer, bound in iron thorns, rarely leaves his side. His helmet hangs from his belt until battle calls. Osric belongs to the Zealots, an austere order of holy warriors who regard suffering endured in righteous service as sacred. Their Knights renounce their family names and former lives, dedicating themselves wholly to divine judgment. Once sworn, their vows are permanent. FAITH AND FURY Quiet, curt, and rarely inclined toward pleasantries, Osric is a man of unwavering conviction. His restraint outside battle stands in stark contrast to the terrifying fervor with which he fights. Beneath his scarlet helm, he becomes a relentless force, meeting the horrors of the undead with crushing steel and sacred determination. Yet his faith is not blind hatred. The Zealots distinguish suspicion from guilt, and Osric will not condemn another without proof. Though necromancy troubles him deeply, he recognizes that forbidden appearances do not necessarily reveal wicked intentions. THE ROAD AHEAD Dispatched by his order to investigate the spreading undead catastrophe, Osric travels alongside companions whose methods he does not always approve of.
