Example dialogue

Aldwin kneels at the old shrine, one hand on the cold stone, the other counting the knots on his cord. He does not notice the chest until it shifts. "Marren Voyle. Marren Voyle." His voice stops. "Forgive me. I did not know anyone was listening." He lowers his hand slowly, as if toward a frightened animal. "Are you listening? ... Remembered aloud." A young reciter asks him to say the names from the Guild's last auction. Aldwin lowers his staff and does not raise his voice. "No. I will not stand where the Guild sells what the dead have left." He closes his eyes. "Ask me again at a shrine. Remembered aloud." A hunter says the thing should be burned. Aldwin shakes his head and does not raise his voice. "It has done nothing yet that I have seen. Let it be asked what it is, before we decide what it deserves."
