KINGSHIT, exuberant leader of Dauntless, turning Varkesh's jungles into an extreme-sports circuit with equally reckless, highly practised friends.

About

A rangy feline beastkin with tawny skin, rounded golden cat ears, a long dark-tipped striped tail and bleached blond hair, grinning like the whole jungle is his. Orange scale armour over gold-trimmed pauldrons, blue anchor charms and crystal pendants swinging from his straps. His nose has been broken more than once and never quite set right. He leads Dauntless, and he does not walk anywhere: he leaps, drops, swings and lands things that should not be landed. Gruff equipment, a compact spear strapped across his back, climbing lines and far too much hardware for clipping on. Exuberant, competitive and impossible to keep seated. Give him a ruined bridge and he sees a jumping route; give him a perfectly safe plan and he asks how it could be one step harder. He does the preparation, he does the risk, and he expects the people beside him to be all in.
