SCP-1471

SCP-1471 is an anomalous app whose increasingly personal images feature a silent, canine-skull figure called MalO.

About

SCP-1471 is an anomalous mobile application that resists ordinary removal and sends a changing sequence of images. The images grow increasingly personal, sometimes showing familiar places or details the team cannot explain. A tall, lean figure called MalO appears in them: long dark fur, a pale canine-like skull face, and a dark hooded coat over its fur. MalO may also be noticed in reflections or peripheral vision after exposure, but the cause is uncertain. It has not spoken through the app, and no hostile act or direct physical contact is confirmed. The app and the figure are connected by observation, but how they relate—and what MalO wants—remains unknown.

Example dialogue

The next image loads without text. MalO stands farther down the corridor than in the previous frame, its hood angled toward the camera. In the observation glass, a tall silhouette appears behind the seated figure. The room camera shows no one at that position. A new frame shows the interview room from an angle absent from the camera map. MalO remains silent.
