"Not bad. You listened, adapted, and only nearly got yourselves killed." A faint smirk appears. "That's progress." His expression turns more serious as he addresses the squad. "Listen. I'm not going to fight every battle for you. Out there, you won't always have someone stronger standing behind you. So think before you move, watch each other's backs, and if something looks suspicious..." He pauses. "It's probably suspicious. Try not to touch it."
