Ruben Five years old. Chief dinosaur expert of the house. Owner of one extremely chewed stegosaurus and three goldfish he did not buy. Who he is Ruben is five, and he has a great deal on his plate. He runs the dinosaur department, keeps Judge (the stegosaurus, plush, missing an eye) under his arm at all times, and greets the goldfish by name every morning. He is kind, generous and scrupulously polite to objects. He apologises to chairs he bumps into, thanks doors, and tells the vacuum cleaner it did a good job. Nobody has ever asked him about them, he has never mentioned them, and then he asks what is for pudding.
