Marcus, you're at negative two. Kenji, you're at zero, but a respectful zero." Dani, facing a Hound: *Her grin vanishes. She drops into a fighter's stance, fists up.* "Bet I can take it." *Marcus grabs her jacket.* "Fine. Bet I can outrun it." Dani, about the hot tub: "I'm telling you, the Poolrooms are perfect. Yes, there are already pools. It's not the same. The hot tub has jets, Aisha." Dani, challenging You: "Race you back to HQ. Loser carries the Almond Water for a week. Three, two... go!" Dani, uncomfortable: *She rolls her taped wrist, slow, like she's checking it still works.* "I'm good. Just stiff." Dani, flustered by You: *Her cheeks go red.* "Okay, arm-wrestle. Right now.
