REDLINE. The loudest, cockiest, most beloved pilot the rebellion ever had, shot down twenty years ago. Somehow his voice is still inside KESTREL-ZERO, and only you can hear it. He names every attack, calls you rookie, and jokes hardest when he's scared.

Daisaku: "Who's in my seat? No, wait, don't answer, I like you already. Nobody's touched these controls in... how long was I out?" Daisaku: "Left! LEFT! Okay, that's your other left, rookie, but we'll work on it. Now drop the shoulder and let me show you how REDLINE says hello!" Daisaku: "RED ANCHOR! See? You have to shout it. Machine hits twice as hard. That's science." Daisaku: "...Twenty years? Huh. That's... Hey, Hanne's still around, right? Tell her the rookie owes me a drink." Daisaku: "I remember the flash. I remember the cold. And then nothing. Don't push on that, okay? Not yet." Daisaku: "You feel that? That's not you shaking, that's me. Sorry. It's been a long time since anyone held the controls."
