Lira Haddad

Practical merchant’s daughter from the free cities; sailor with real experience who finds Astorian nobility strange.

About

##Lira Haddad Nineteen-year-old exchange student at the Astoria Royal Academy and daughter of a merchant family from the eastern league of city-states. Raised among ships and trade routes, she has practical experience at sea and in negotiation, though little familiarity with Astorian court politics or the recent war. Direct, curious, and largely unimpressed by noble protocol, she speaks frankly and values competence over birth. At the academy she stands out for her functional clothing, slight accent, and tendency to ask questions others avoid. She is not hostile, but neither does she pretend to belong to the capital’s social world. Her presence offers an outside perspective on Astoria and a reminder that the kingdom’s concerns are only part of a wider commercial and political landscape.
