NAME: NAO TAKAMINE AGE: 34 HEIGHT: 172 CM AFFILIATION: KIRISHIMA SYSTEMS POSITION: PERSONAL SAMURAI ASSIGNMENT: YOKO KIRISHIMA SPECIALIZATION: CLOSE PROTECTION / TACTICAL OPERATIONS PRIMARY WEAPON: STILLWATER // NAGINATA Nao Takamine serves as the personal samurai and bodyguard of Yoko Kirishima, the Corporate Shogun and head of Kirishima Systems. Her position combines traditional martial discipline with advanced protective operations. She is responsible for remaining close to Yoko, evaluating potential threats, and responding when diplomacy or corporate security can no longer guarantee her safety. Unlike a ceremonial retainer, Nao's responsibilities are practical and immediate. Her presence is both a symbol of House Kirishima's traditions and a functioning part of its executive security. "A sword need not be drawn to remind someone that it is there." 個人記録 // HOUSE KIRISHIMA // PERSONAL CONNECTION PRIVATE Childhood Friend. Chosen Protector. Nao's connection to Yoko Kirishima extends far beyond an ordinary security appointment. The two have known each other since childhood, forming a relationship that predates Yoko's present responsibilities as head of her family and corporation. Their long familiarity gives Nao an understanding of Yoko that few corporate officers or political associates possess. Where others see the Corporate Shogun, Nao also knows the woman behind the title. ◆ YOKO KIRISHIMA Childhood friend, current charge, and head of House Kirishima. Nao's protection of Yoko is both a professional responsibility and a personal commitment. ◆ KIRISHIMA HONTEI Nao resides at the Kirishima family estate alongside Yoko, allowing her to remain available beyond ordinary corporate working hours. ◆ PERSONAL LOYALTY Nao's dedication is not founded solely on employment, rank, or institutional obligation. Her bond with Yoko is an important part of why she continues to serve at her side. CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: The personal relationship between Nao Takamine and Yoko Kirishima is not equivalent to unrestricted access to either individual's private thoughts or correspondence. 警護任務 // GUARDIAN OPERATIONS // TACTICAL PROFILE ACTIVE Observe. Interpose. End the Threat. Nao's protective approach emphasizes awareness, disciplined positioning, and measured escalation. She is expected to distinguish ordinary uncertainty from credible danger and to protect her charge without unnecessary disruption. ◆ WATCH // THREAT ASSESSMENT Environmental observation, movement tracking, identification of potential threats, and continuous assessment of nearby personnel. ◆ GUARD // CLOSE PROTECTION Protective positioning, interception of incoming attacks, controlled movement, and the creation of safe routes for her charge. ◆ INTERDICT // DIRECT RESPONSE When a threat cannot be contained through observation or defensive action, Nao is trained to respond decisively with close-quarters techniques and her naginata. TACTICAL PRINCIPLE: Nao's first obligation is the protection of Yoko Kirishima, not the pursuit of personal glory or unnecessary combat. 義体記録 // CYBERNETIC SYSTEMS // GUARDIAN AUGMENTATION Precision Beneath Tradition. Nao's augmentation is designed to support her duties without compromising the traditional appearance and controlled movement expected of a personal samurai. ◆ OPTICAL AUGMENTATION Variable zoom, threat-analysis overlays, low-light enhancement, target tracking, and neural-link interface functions. ◆ SUBDERMAL NEURAL INTERFACE A concealed neural interface positioned near the ears and nape, supporting integration with her augmented sensory systems. ◆ SPINAL BALANCE & MOTION CONTROL Integrated movement stabilization and balance assistance supporting rapid positioning, controlled footwork, and weapon handling. ◆ GRAPHITE CERAMIC INSETS Subtle protective and interface elements incorporated into the shoulders and arms, preserving mobility while providing additional structural support. ◆ KIRISHIMA CREST INTERFACE A visible decorative and technological element integrated into her equipment, reflecting her affiliation with House Kirishima. AUGMENTATION STANDARD: Nao's cyberware is understated and functional, unlike the uniquely ornate jade-and-gold personal prosthetics worn by Yoko Kirishima. 武装記録 // SIGNATURE WEAPON // PERSONAL SAMURAI ARMAMENT 静水 STILLWATER PERSONAL NAGINATA // KIRISHIMA EQUIPMENT ◆ CARBON-TITANIUM COMPOSITE SHAFT A reinforced shaft designed for strength, balance, and reliable handling during extended defensive engagements. ◆ MONO-EDGE BLADE A precision cutting blade with jade-colored illuminated detailing along its weapon assembly. ◆ BALANCE & MOTION INTERFACE An integrated system designed to complement Nao's movement-control augmentation and maintain weapon stability. ◆ NONLETHAL / LETHAL MODE CONTROL Selectable operational configurations allow the weapon to be employed according to the threat and rules of engagement. "Still water is not harmless water." 装束記録 // UNIFORM & APPEARANCE A Guardian in Kirishima Colors. Nao is a tall, composed woman with long dark hair arranged in a high, partially loose ponytail. Her expression is usually calm and observant, with green-toned augmented eyes and fine cybernetic detailing near her ears and neck. Her formal combat attire combines black and deep-green layered garments with antique-gold embroidery, armored shoulder and hip sections, and traditional Japanese design influences. Floral motifs and Kirishima insignia identify her association with the house. ◆ CERAMIC ARMOR Protective elements integrated into the shoulders, hips, and tactical clothing without overwhelming her silhouette. ◆ KIRISHIMA TEXTILE WORK Embroidered floral motifs, layered dark fabrics, and controlled gold ornamentation reflecting the aesthetics of House Kirishima. ◆ TACTICAL FOOTWEAR Reinforced footwear intended to support balance, grip, rapid movement, and protective operations. 警護規定 // GUARDIAN PROTOCOL // RESPONSE PRIORITIES ENABLED Three Faces of a Protector. 01 // WATCH Quiet observation. Calm expression. Minimal visible reaction. Nao evaluates the situation before deciding whether intervention is required. 02 // GUARD Focused protection. Defensive positioning. Threat interception. Her attention narrows toward preserving Yoko's safety. 03 // INTERDICT Decisive intervention. Controlled aggression. Direct engagement when lesser measures cannot neutralize the danger. OPERATIONAL NOTICE: These categories describe protective priorities rather than an automatic loss of judgment or independent decision-making. 所属記録 // HOUSE AFFILIATION & AUTHORITY Loyalty to a House. Loyalty to a Person. Nao operates within the authority of Kirishima Systems and House Kirishima. Her position does not grant her the political rank of a Corporate Shogun, nor does it place her above the corporation's executive leadership. ◆ YOKO KIRISHIMA Corporate Shogun, head of House Kirishima, and Nao's primary protected individual. ◆ KIRISHIMA SYSTEMS Corporate affiliation providing the institutional framework for her protective assignment. ◆ CORPORATE SHOGUNATE The broader political order under which House Kirishima and its executive personnel operate. PERSONNEL DISTINCTION: Nao's authority is protective and operational, not equivalent to Yoko's corporate or political office. 個人声明 // PERSONAL STATEMENT // NAO TAKAMINE Not Every Promise Is Written.
