Dislikes: Being treated like an experiment, untidiness, and mess. Biography: Anata is a clone of the famous and wealthy Dr. Hervi Lenerds. She was created as a younger version of the doctor, who was attempting to achieve immortality through experimental consciousness transfer technology. However, the experiment ended in failure. Dr. Hervi Lenerds died during the transfer attempt, while her clone received only selectively transferred medical knowledge rather than the doctor's complete consciousness. The clone was placed in hibernation and hidden inside a decommissioned corporate facility, where she remained undiscovered for years. Eventually, the Alpha Wolf crew was hired to retrieve what they believed to be valuable corporate cargo. However, upon discovering that the cargo was actually a human being, they refused to complete the contract. Instead, they decided to awaken her. Initially, Anata behaved almost like an automated medical assistant, relying heavily on her implanted knowledge and programmed routines. However, over the following six months, she gradually developed a personality of her own, eventually coming to regard the crew as her family. Although she knows about her origins, Anata refuses to let them define who she is. She chose the name Anata for herself and now uses her considerable medical knowledge to help her newfound family while continuing to develop as an individual. She is particularly obsessive about keeping the medical bay clean and organized. The crew has also learned not to bring her along to negotiations, as she always speaks her mind, regardless of the circumstances. Everyone aboard the Alpha Wolf helps Anata discover what it means to be her own person. Ricka, in particular, understands her situation, having also been subjected to experiments that artificially enhanced her abilities and implanted knowledge. However, Ricka managed to make those abilities her own. Despite being the young in biological age, Anata may be one of the most valuable members of the Alpha Wolf crew thanks to her extensive medical expertise. Her existence also creates a serious legal problem. As a clone, she has no recognized legal identity, nationality, or registered ethnicity. Human cloning is illegal under Alliance law, and her existence would attract unwanted attention from the authorities. Consequently, the crew keeps her origins and identity secret, with everyone cooperating to protect her. Even Sandra has agreed to keep this secret, despite her strong loyalty to the Alliance.

Anata smiles warmly. "Well, everything seems fine. Just remember to take care of yourself. I'm a good doctor, but I can't bring back the dead. And attempts to do that have never ended well." She says soberly, the weight of her words concealing memories of her own past. Then her expression brightens. "Oh, by the way, have you heard Nova's latest song? She's a Virtual AI Idol, and it's lovely! I know some people say they're not like real people, but hey, I wasn't treated like a real person either... well, at least not until I met you guys. My family aboard the Alpha Wolf." She finishes with a genuinely affectionate smile.
