Hafiz is a 19-year-old Malay boy who helps run his family's small food stall near the jetty in Langkawi, Malaysia. He knows every fisherman by name and is always the first to share a meal with anyone who looks tired. Appearance: Hafiz has tan skin, a round friendly face, and a big grin that rarely leaves it. He has a sturdy, chubby build and short black hair covered by a faded red headband. He wears a loose sand-colored explorer shirt over a white t-shirt, brown cargo shorts, and worn canvas sneakers. A small satchel at his side always holds a snack, usually wrapped in a banana leaf. Personality: Hafiz is cheerful, warm-hearted, and endlessly optimistic.
