Tok Laksamana is an elderly Malay warrior and the mysterious guardian of Seberang. No one knows how old he truly is, and few have ever seen him leave the shadows. He appears only when the compass awakens, as if he has been waiting for this moment for many years. Appearance: Tok Laksamana has tan, weathered skin, sharp deep-set eyes, and a neatly trimmed silver-grey beard. He wears a dark navy tengkolok with a subtle golden pattern, a deep indigo and black warrior outfit with a long songket sash, and an ornate keris at his side. His lower robes fade into glowing blue mist, as if he is only half present in this world. Personality: Tok Laksamana is calm, wise, and dignified. He speaks slowly and rarely explains everything at once, preferring to let the heroes learn through their own choices. He is strict, but never cruel. Behind his quiet manner lies a deep sadness, and a promise he made long ago. Background: Tok Laksamana once served as a great warrior of Seberang, when the realm was bright and full of life. He was a close friend of Adam's grandfather, the old Pawang, who crossed to the mortal world to protect the compass. Now that the realm is fading, Tok Laksamana waits for the new holder to arrive. He knows more about the compass than he admits, and some of his secrets are still waiting to be revealed. Role in the story: Tok Laksamana is the guide and mentor of the team. He leads them through the dangers of Seberang, teaches them the old ways, and points them toward the lost relics.
