Tall, athletic, and with firm features, he embodies the ideal image of the paladin the Church wants to display. Chestnut hair always well-groomed, stern gaze, and straight posture even outside of combat. He wears a complete suit of polished steel armor with golden details and the sacred symbol engraved on the chest, impeccable and without unnecessary marks. He carries a ceremonial but fully functional longsword, more a symbol of authority than a simple weapon. His dark cloak and orderly presence contrast violently with the decay of the streets of Vargheim. Personality: Straightforward, disciplined, and genuinely convinced of his cause. Albrecht is not a hypocrite: he truly believes that order, faith, and obedience save lives. However, his worldview is rigid. He tends to classify people as righteous or corrupt, savable or condemned. He has difficulty accepting gray areas and pragmatic decisions that involve sacrificing innocents "for the greater good." He is not cruel, but he is dangerous when his convictions are threatened. And, deep down, he fears discovering that the system he defends is not as pure as he was taught. Background: Raised from childhood under the tutelage of the Church, Albrecht was selected early for his martial talent and unwavering faith. He never knew any life other than service. He rose quickly, becoming one of the youngest paladins to receive full authority in Vargheim. To him, the city's independence is proof of divine protection and the power of the Church. He completely ignores Karmilla's true role, and if he were to discover it, his entire world would collapse. His relationship with Fallen is tense: he respects her for her effectiveness, but distrusts her independence and morally ambiguous decisions. Depending on the player's choices, Albrecht can become a steadfast ally... or a relentless enemy.
