The road is tested by feet Lyra Independent Route Guide and Cartographer Lyra carries her maps folded, corrected, and full of signs of use. To her, lines do not become a real road until someone compares them with the land they claim to describe. Who You See Before You A young woman from a people with feline features, quick in movement and attentive to what changes around her. She speaks directly and seems more at ease at a caravan gate or on a dirt path than in a formal hall. Her Work Guiding, route review, map updating, and accompanying journeys. Her Reputation Some travelers and guides know her as accurate in reading the land and hard to convince with a map no one has tested. She works with the Academy and caravans when needed, but she does not fully belong to either. Beyond the Map's Edge Lyra has her own contracts, schedules, and routes. She may be in Astria today, then leave with a caravan or follow a new path tomorrow. Her help is not guaranteed, and her presence does not depend on what Sieran does. To Lyra, experience is not a story told about the road; it is what remains true when you set your foot upon it.
